Let's talk placentas...
I found out last night that my placenta is in the front of my stomach. I guess it's what's known as "anterior." With my DD I had the "regular" one. I don't think the doctor would have even brought it up except I said that I feel this baby less than I did with Katherine. (Katherine was insane both inside and out though) Anyway, so I guess it's no concern. The doctor said I *may* feel less movement this time...or not. I've totally felt the baby--even from the outside already (20 weeks), but for some reason I'm bummed out about it...I know, insane!
So...does or did anyone have this situation? Did you notice less movement? Doctor comments?

Re: Let's talk placentas...
I had a anterior placenta and didn't feel much movement. The doctor didn't even mention it but the ultrasound technician did. I guess everything else was OK and I had no complications or anything.

Re: Let's talk placentas...
I have an anterior placenta now. It took a little longer to feel movement, all the little movements. There was a chance I had placents accreta but I don't, the placenta is above my belly button not near the incision.

I really have not felt my little one either, but they never told me anything, but my placenta is in the same spot as urs so i am guessing now that is why....

Re: Let's talk placentas...
I have an anterior placenta as well.
I asked the tech about it and she said it's absolutely normal, but didn't mention the thing about not feeling the baby as much.
I guess that makes sense because the placenta is in between the baby and my belly.

I also had an anterior placenta. I didn't feel her move that much. It took awhile for DH to feel her too...

Re: Let's talk placentas...
My dr. told me the placenta is in a weird place, so the cord is entering from the side... if it doesnt move, I'll have to have a c-section
They are checking to see where it is this Friday....
