Let's talk Epcot- added question

I already booked our fast pass for Test Track. What other two would you do? I'm thinking Spaceship Earth and Nemo? Or should I book the character meet and greet?
We usually do quick service for lunch. Where do you love for dinner? My boys are 6 and 9, so no need for princesses Chat Icon

Ok, now I'm questioning myself. I was only able to get a fast pass for Test Track at 7:35 and its screwing up trying to make dinner reservations and see Illuminations. It also makes it impossible to get any additional Fast Passes.
If anyone has waited stand by, how long is the line usually? And we are not rope drop people, so its not like we'll be the first ones in the park.

I wouldn't waste a fast pass on Nemo, the line moves quickly IME! I would do the Character Meet and Greet if they want to meet the characters. That line gets ridiculously long. In February we had a fast pass for it, and still had to wait about 45 minutes because there was a tour group with like 150 people in front of us!

I like Garden Grill in the Land. It's character, and the food is actually good unlike a lot of character meals. If you like Mexican how about San Angel Inn? You can watch the boats go by in there.

We're leaning towards Mexican or Moroccan I think, but I'll check out the menu for a Garden Grill

We personally love Via Napoli bc my kids love pizza.

I'd def fast pass the meet and greet. The line can get really long!

You probably already know this but I highly recommend getting dinner reservations on the water so you can watch the firework show while you eat (preferably outside). The food was 'ehh' at best but we ate outside at the Rose and Crown and were able to see the fireworks. The best part was we left after the crowds so it wasn't a nightmare getting out of the park.

Test Track, Spaceship Earth and meet & greet. You can always change around based on wait times when you get there. Figment is really cute, but lines move fast.

As far as dinner, I would recommend Via Napoli, Japan (Habachi) or Chinese. We did Germany when we went last week, it was fun for the kids but food wise he didn't eat anything.

PS - If your going mid-June Soarin will be open again so def FP that one!

We're planning on going to Epcot June 15, but Soarin didn't come up as an option

I would also watch for the date on the new Frozen ride in Norway. It doesn't look like they've announced it yet but it's supposed to be June.

That could affect touring if they make it Tier 1 and knock Mission Space back down to Tier 2.

We were just there- FP Test Track, Meet and Greet and Spaceship Earth. After we used our fastpasses we fastpasses Illuminations. We loved the food at Marrakesh (Morroco) for dinner. But, we like middle eastern food.

Via Napoli was awesome for lunch. Great Pizza.

Re: Let's talk Epcot- added question

I just checked the wait for today and it's already 50 minutes at 10:10 am and you'll be going when it's busier.

I wouldn't attempt it for standby unless it was at rope drop or in the later evening. But I won't wait more than 20-30 minutes tops for any ride. I'd rather do rope drop or rely on FP+.

Can you make a reservation for later and just plan on a late night if you are not rope drop people?

You can go in the single rider line on Test Track if you are okay with your party splitting up (not sure your kids ages). That moves much faster. Otherwise the line gets LONG!
