let's talk about insurance
How has your CF-ness affected the type and amount of insurance you have?
Anyone have long-term care insurance? Looking far ahead, DH and I won't have anyone to help us out in the way we're there for our own parents.

An interesting question. DH just went out and got us Aflac. We did not opt for the long term care insurance, but I feel like we got every other kind! Cancer, accident, life ins and personal sickness.
I don't know why we didnt get long term; denial maybe?

Neither of our jobs offer anything like this. But we haven't really explored this kind of insurance ourselves...I just got DH to get life insurance within the last year! 
I guess we should start looking into it though. Mind if I ask what the rates are like?

DH and I only have health insurance.
We really need to get life insurance, before the rates get much higher because of our ages.
Long term care insurance is something that we also need to look into. I don't want to put the burden on my niece and nephew for our care when we get older.
The only advance planning we have done so far is to buy plots for our burial.

We have health, life and I have disability and accident through aflac.
