Legoland in FL?
Has anyone stayed at the hotel there? It looks adorable. How was the park area? Any tips for me? Can you do it in one day?

Legoland in FL?
hotel was awesome - my kids loved it and the activities in the evening are great - they play in the legos and you can have a drink and/or dinner at the lounge/bar
park is good - the water park was closed when we went - but you only need two days tops - my boys had lots of fun -we did the castle ride with no line twice in the morning, and another ride that way there are coupons for buy one adult and get one kid free on the bags of legos they sell by target checkout. then you can add a second day for $15 each - get in early that was when we got most don also book the lego master class as soon as you check in

Re: Legoland in FL?
thanks for the info! I think we'd only be able to swing one day for legoland though - Is it possible?

Legoland in FL?
I am going next week for one day. I will let you know how it is when I get back. I am sure 1 day is plenty. I only do one day at Disney!

Re: Legoland in FL?
We went when it first opened when there was no hotel yet. It was very cute.
Our friends went recently and had an amazing time. DS's friend took mini figures and were able to trade them with workers. Apparently that was the highlight of his trip.

Legoland in FL?
We spent one day at Legoland. One day should be enough but it depends what you want to do while there. We spent a lot of time in the water park and only left due to a storm when they closed everything (they told us this happens a lot). The water park was closed as well as all the other rides. Only inside activities were open and the outside Lego displays, and of course the stores. If we didn't go to the water park, we would have had plenty of time for everything else. Although the park is advertised for up to age 12, there is not much for an older child there. I would say best ages for the park are probably 4-9.

Loved it!!!!!! Went today. Got there at 945. They opened at 10. By the time we got tix peed and got in line they were open. Not a single line!!!!! Most rides we walked right up to. Waited for one for 15 mins but that was the longest. My DS is 4 and 42" And we went on just about everything. He had the best day. We left by 4 and didn't miss a thing. Water park wasn't open so if we wanted to do that you'd need more than a day.
I would pick it over Disney for this age. I would say 6 maybe would be the limit and then he'd start to get bored !

So glad you had fun! This is awesome info! But my oldest would be 7 by the time we go. It should still be ok? He is the kind of kid that has a good time no matter what.

My older son loves water parks & he could play in one all day, my youngest not so much. I will look up what the waterpark area looks like.
