Leg cramps at 8.5 weeks?
Today I started having cramps in my calves, I used to get this before AF. Anyone else experience this? I'm nervous that bc it's an AF symptom for me it means something is wrong.

Yes. I had leg cramps all through my first tri and now they are back so much worse in the third tri.
It's supposed to be a lack of potassium but I eat plenty of bananas and tomatoes.

Totally. Charlie horses. Very normal. They stopped in second trimester but probably will come back.

I started getting leg cramps early in my second trimester and still get them from time to time. Like pp said, if you up your potassium intake it should help. I now try to have either a banana or a glass of OJ at some point during the day. That really seems to help, unless I'm on my feet a lot - then I just know I will wake up in pain.
My doc also suggested to do yoga or lots of stretching exercises, which will prevent your muscles from tightening up.

I got charlie horses with DD. A banana a day and water helps.

yes, Charlie horse - from what I have read it is common during pregnancy, I have been experiencing it as well from the beginning.

Totally normal! My first DC I had them BAD!!!! I would fly up in the middle of the night and have to rub my calves! I didnt experience that with this pregnancy THANK GOD....they sucked!!!! It only lasted a week for me
