Leaving baby while traveling to a different state
Friday DH and I are heading up to Boston for 2 nights for a friends wedding.
This is the first time we're leaving DD for more than a night...and we've never left the state without her!
My question is, should I write up some sort of statement, saying that in my absence my MIL (who she will be staying with) can bring her to the ER, etc???
If so, what should it say?

I didn't even think of this! DH and I will be out of state next month.

Everytime we have left the kids, I call the ped office & I fill out a form stating my parents can make any medical decisions necessary when my dh & I are not present & usually specify the dates.
