Leather Seats

I am in the market for a new car and I am the type that keeps cars for a very long time- current car is a 2003. I was wondering if anyone has an older car with leather seats and they have held up well?

I am nervous that I will spend more for leather, and the leather would crack-the car would not be garaged- I am looking for the Pilot.

Thanks- BTW - is it just me or is car shopping seriously the worst...

Re: Leather Seats

I have a 2004 Peugeot with leather seats and they have held up really well. Granted, I just bought the car last year (with only 70,000 miles), but they look great. I would make sure you get heated seats because they get really cold in the winter.

Re: Leather Seats

I have a 2006 that I bought new at the end of 2005.
The leather is fine.
It's not garaged either.
It's not cracked at all actually.

Nell curious what kind of car is it- I am sure BMW leather is a better quality than Honda. This decision is killing me- if I don't get leather on the Pilot I can't get the moon roof, that's the way their packages are.
Thanks!

Our leather holds up better than our cloth seats because they're so much easier to clean.

Re: Leather Seats

I have a 2011 Honda oddesey with leather seats and they look brand new still. I know it’s not as old as your talking about, but I figured I’d respond since it’s the same manufacturer and I have 4 kids who are quite rough and spill crap/walk with cleats everywhere and they still look great.
