Leapster v. Leappad
DS is going to be 3 in August. His godparents offered to buy either the Leapster or the Leappad for his bday. I was wondering if anyone could tell me which they thought was better and the reasons why. I've been told that they are essentially the same except the leappad is like a tablet.

I would get the leappad. We have both and my kids don't play with the leapster at all. The leappad is much easier to use. I would get a leapster for a 5 year old.

Leapster v. Leappad
DS plays with his Explorer at least once a day. We do not have Leappad, only because he loves my iPad and all the apps on it! He just turned 3.
Target has Leappad 2 -50% off - as of yesterday- the newer one is coming out!

We have both. The explorer is more handheld, like a video game, whereas the leap pad is more tablet like. Go with the leappad IMO.

Leapster v. Leappad
We don't have a Leapster but, DS got the Leappad for his 3rd birthday and loves it. He enjoys my Ipad too but, likes doing different things on the Leappad.
