Leap year
So I have not ovulated yet this month but I am hoping to sometime this week. I checked my EDD if I were to get pregnant and its really close to Feb 29. I have an irrational fear of having a baby on leap day!! Anyone else or am I the only crazy one??

Oh wow, is it a leap year next year? My EDD would be February 19, but hey you never know. Well, aside from really wanting a baby very badly and not caring, I wouldn't really want for my baby to have a leap year bday.

I'll take a baby on any day...... If they made up a 13th month just for 2012, I'd have a baby then too. I'll take a winter baby ... summer baby ... middle of the night baby ....... you get the idea!!

I agree I would be beyond excited to be pregnant but I also would not want the baby to have a leap day bday!!

How does that even work???
Most would celebrate their bday on the 28th but you can choose to celebrate on March 1. Its up to the person.

i remember my mom telling me if we got pregnant around this time we 'could have a leap year baby'
i feel the opposite of you.
if i could guarantee a feb 29 baby id def go for it.
i've only known one person in my life who was a leap year birthday. so cool IMO.

Wow didnt even think of that, I was just hoping that if I did get pregnant this time that he or she wouldnt be born on March 2, my DS b-day. O well if it is Feb29th so be it.
