leaking question

how do you know if you're leaking fluid? 26 weeks, underwear been damp all day. i know it was hot today, could be sweat - but how can you tell? undies smell funky - not sweet, but definite odor

TMI but im damp pretty much all day. im 27 weeks and noticed another slight increase of discharge over the last week or so, but everything still looks normal.
I dont know how you can tell for sure, but i would just use your judgement and if you are worried or think its more than out of a normal range, call your dr for a peice of mind.

If you are smelling an odor that resembles or is urine then that is exactly what it is - and it's normal as the baby pushes down on our blatters. Chances are there is some sweat that is added to the moisture you see - normal too.

If the smell is sweet - it could be amniotic fluid - something to check with your doctor about.

All in all - it's normal. Throw some panty-liners in your cart next time you are out and use them to save yourself the pain of changing underwear and worry about leaks.

I AM 24 Weeks and i have been leaking some days.. i dont notice it soaking wet but i do notice it on my bra when i take it off at night there is a little stain hang in there its normal oh i just reread you rquestion on your underwear. could be sweat.. sorry wrong answer.. baby brain kicking in
