Leaking?

I know this is tmi but how do you know if you are leaking fluid or if your bladder isn't as good as it used to be? This is my 2nd child and I don't remember feeling like i peed myself. The MD asks every time I go but today I just don't know what I felt.

For those that this happened to are there any other symptoms? For amnio leakage?

With my first, I had a lot of "leaking" of some sort. My doctor said to sit on the toilet, relax my muscles and listen. If it was amniotic fluid, there would most likely be a constant trickling sound. There is also a test they can do if you go in office, they swab the area and test it for amniotic fluids.

Now that I'm in my 2nd pregnancy, I am constantly wet, I have to wear panty liners, between my bladder not being what it used to be and excessive discharge...there is no getting away with no panty liner!

I have this exact question now. Since starting my 3rd trimester last Saturday, I've noticed and increase in discharge/wetness. I don't remember if I had this or not with my first.

I'm going to bring it up to my Dr on Monday, but it kinda freaks me out! I tried the toilet test PP mentioned and don't hear anything that I can't control. Are there any other symptoms of leaking fluid? I still feel the baby a lot and its not consistent leaking...like sometimes none at all.

I feel like this too. My bladder is deff not where it used to be before my DS and I do feel like urine is still leaking a bit when I get off the toilet... Sorry if TMI

Between this and the excess discharge, I also can't get away with not wearing a liner!

Chances are it is pee. I peed my entire pregnancy. I wore pads because I leaked sooooo much.

It was so bad that when my water did break at 37 weeks I thought I was just peeing myself until it wouldn't stop.

I feel wet all the time. I wear liners but I hate them. It is my least fav part of pregnancy for sure.

I was sick last week and ended up living in Poise pads b/c I would pee myself from every cough or sneeze.

ETA: Not a full pee but it leaked enough to soak my underwear.

i sneezed and peed myself 2 days ago. My bladder was weak for a long time after my first too. thank god i was home bc that could have been super embarrassing.

Whenever I go to the bathroom, I try to get it all out, stand up, sit back down, make sure I'm good....then once I get to the sink, more comes out...every time!!!!!!! Ugh.

Thanks I really never thought about it until this pregnancy but I miss my oldbladder of steal. The further along I go the worse the bladder is.
