Leaking???
Ok, so I know this has been asked like 100 times but I'm curious. I've read online that when your water is leaking it is supposed to smell "sweet" rather than the smell of urine. And, to see if you are leaking I've read to lay down or sit for a few minutes and then get up walk around. Or, put on a pad and see if it gets wet after a little while.
I am not saying I am leaking, but I am just curious...just in case. When you wear a pad, sometimes it dosent look wet b/c it is made to absorb fluid! And, what does "sweet" smell like??? Will the water be totally like water as far as it being thin, or will can it be thicker?? I am so confused.

Re: Leaking???
I thought it should smell oderless could be wrong, though.
I know the leaking should get worse if you are in bed, since the baby's head acts like a plug when you stand, but doesn't plug well when you're horizontal.
Don't worry too much about it. most women don't have their water break until they're in the hospital and pretty far along in labor.

Re: Leaking???
I don't remember it smelling sweet, but more like fresh straw. As for a maxi pad I think that would be to thick. I just used TP.
