lazy baby?

i am 31.5 weeks along and i barely feel the baby. i keep telling DH its a lazy baby and will def be out late at this rate.
anyone have the same thing? i have done the kick counts and can feel 10 movements in about 20 minutes or so...but thats only 2-3 times a day. that baby is very active around 11am, 4pm and 11pm. otherwise i barely know its in there.
anyone else feel like their baby is just sleeping the day away? i mean i guess i cant complain if its going to come out and be as lazy as it is now Chat Icon

Re: lazy baby?

My mom swears that the more they move inside the more they sleep outside.....so if she is right, you might be in trouble!!!

Re: lazy baby?

My twins are pretty nuts in the womb, but my first son, I hardly felt, like ever!! I could never do kick counts, it just wasn't consistent.

He was lazy on the inside, and proved to be lazy on the outside (easiest kid ever)

SO I am scared now that I have two circus performers in my belly!

Re: lazy baby?

I think babies settle into patterns. Like I know my baby wakes up around 8:30pm every night. I also tend to feel him more when I'm lying down, relaxing. When I'm up and moving around, I don't notice the movements or don't feel them as much.

lazy baby?

My baby is lazy too. You might not be aware at how the baby is moving while you're up and around. I always find that when I'm sitting, I feel him more more!

Re: lazy baby?

my DD was super "lazy" in the womb!! Hardly ever felt her. She is now 2 1/2 months, and is such a good baby!! Shes content just sitting in her swing or playmat, and has been a good sleeper too! very laid back!! so id say its a good thing!! :)
