Late BFP??
Hi. I went off BC in October and since then, AF has been relatively regular (regular for me at least-- it was somewhat irregular when I was younger and before BC). AF has been ariving over the last few months in the 30-34 day range (with significant PMS symptoms, sore breasts etc.). Today is now day 36, no AF and no real signs of AF. I POS a few days ago with Wondfo and got a BFN. In speaking with my mother, she said that when she was pregnant with me, she didnt get a BFP on a test until 6 weeks after ovulation! I know I just need to probably wait it out and see, but did anybody else have that experience? I keep thinking that it's still somewhat possible that I could be pregnant, but could just be that I was stressed this month and therefore have a late AF. Just wondering if I'm totally loony for thinking no AF but no BFP could mean BFP. LOL.

OK< So here's the thing with tests now versus back when your mom was pregnant, the tests are about a thousand times more sensitive. There is NO WAY that it would take 6 weeks after O to test positive. That said, do you know EXACTLY when you O'ed, are you tracking? I would be more inclined to guess that it's just a long cycle due to extra stress, which delays ovulation. Could mean that a + is on it's way (I got my 1st + with this current pregnancy on CD35 or 36, don't remember), or it could mean that AF is just a few extra days late.

Hmm. That does make sense about the difference in tests. I was testing but didnt see a strong line during the span in which I've seen it before (although I thought I felt that I was Oing).....I guess it would make sense if I O'ed later and will get AF later as well. THanks for the info. We shall see.....

How many DPO would you guess you are? If you were testing using OPK's and didn't get a "strong positive" then you weren't getting positive OPK's. How many DPO for the POSITIVE test would you say you are?
