last minute disney help
We are taking DD (4 months old). We bought a combi trip stroller for the trip. Now Dh thinks we should bring the car seat and snugrider frame instead. We are not renting a car. The car seat would only be handy really in restuarants I guess. Should be just bring the trip stroller or bring all 3 pieces? UGH!

Bring whatever you care about the least. I've had two nice stollers damaged in baggage handling.

Re: last minute disney help
I would be concerned about the heat and the baby sitting in the snugride all day. I know on a cold day DD still gets sweaty in her infant seat.

absolutely the car seat and snap and go. At least the car seat you can use on the planes and wouldnt you need her in one in cabs and stuff? I brought dd at 4 weeks, then 6 months and 1 yr and the snap and go worked the best.

Re: last minute disney help
If you bring the seat than you'll bring the base too? DOn't you need both pieces in order to use it on the plane? I would just go the route of the stoller and bring a Baby Bjorn or sling also. I have a Bjorn if you want to borrow

I think I would have to bring the base too. I was thinking of bringing the snugli and the stroller...and skip the car seat and snap and go. Dh is driving me nuts about all this.

Re: last minute disney help
I'd say snap n go and car seat. You don't need the base to use it on a plane or even in the car. We are going to Disney in a few weeks and are going to bring the snap n go and the carseat. Last time we traveled we checked the base and just used it in the rental car. You may want to bring a bjorn though too so that you don't have to keep DC in the car seat all day. That is our plan.

You don't need the base, even in the car, so I definately wouldn't bring the base.
Having traveled with DS twice, I would skip the car seat if you aren't going to be in cars. I didn't bring ours when we cruised. And I would bring something that has a sun shade.
