Large Dog Pet Friendly In Forest Hills Queens?
So we were told by a real estate agent that this one coop we were interested in and looking to bid on was large dog pet friendly. After seeing the house rules they only allow 35lbs dogs.
I was wondering if any one living in forest hills knew of a large dog pet friendly coop. My husband and I are looking for a JR 4-2 br but our budget is a little on the low side about 225K. Any help/leads would be wonderful.

I was just at a bridal shower for a friend over the weekend. It was at the bride's friend's house - a co-op in Forest Hills. I have no clue how pricing is in the building, but the building itself was very pretty and I thought the apt was beautiful. They have a dog - about 40-45 lbs and I saw a number of other people with dogs in the building as well - all fairly medium to large size dogs. The name of the building was The Fairview - on Grand Central Parkway. Good luck!

I called the management company and new policy is 35lbs dog. they had a 2 br in my price range too :(

I live in a dog-friendly co-op in FH but I'm not sure of a size restriction- I do see large dogs around the building though.
The building is called Fontaine Gardens. There are almost always units for sale.

 I'm sorry! How big is your dog? I doubt they'll make you weigh him in front of them. Can he possibly pass for around 35 lbs?

unfortunately not, shes a really fat pit bull (68lbs). I'm so afraid of disclosing her breed because she is a pit. :(

Thank you I'm going to look into this!
thinking about it further i know there is a boxer in the building - definitely more than 35 lbs! i don't know if the dog was grandfathered in or not though. there is also a springer spaniel on my floor who is a newer tenant (within the last 6 months) and i would guess he's more than 35 lbs too. hope that helps!

So i called a real estate agent and he found out that the Fairview does allow large dogs. when I called the management company the rep said she thinks they changed the policy... who should I listen to? the rep wasnt sure if they did change the policy
