so just stumbled upon this article from WebMD.. its pretty intersting actually..
granted its from 2004..but still!!

I no longer sit on the couch with my laptop on my lap - i put a pillow over my lap first!

Saunas
Tight shorts
Anything that raises the temperature down there is not good for the production and survival of sperm.
I wouldn't worry too much about it though! It's not like DH sits there with heating pad on his you-know-whats
As long as it's not excessive, I'm sure it's okay.

yea i find it intersesting..but at the same time.. its funny... so many myths and stories that could cause fertility problems..lol

OH noooooo - i knew what that article would be about. I read something similar not long ago and it also mentioned how the heat can affect a WOMAN"S EGGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's why i use a pillow now and want to get something better than that for when i'm sitting at home...
I thought you meant you did something to poor dave - about the heat - like iced him down or something after using a laptop!

My Dh would just sit there with it on his lap and now I make him use a pillow first! I said that I just want to make sure we are doing everything we can do to help it along! and he listens so it's all good!
