laminate flooring in bathroom?
has anyone put laminate flooring in their bathroom? we are remodeling ours & I feel like it would look nice...am I nuts???
feedback & pics would be GREAT!!!

I was thinking of it.. but the issue is the moisture. The padding below the flooring will absorb water and swell. Gotta have panels replaced, etc. So I figured nah. If I were to re-do my bathroom (which I plan on later) I'll go with Slate.
For me the laminate seemed like a waste.
ETA: Can you imagine if you toilet over flowed? ugh. The mess, the trouble, nah. You'd have to be careful with any spilled water, etc.

we got vinyl wood looking flooring that looks exactly like the laminate in our bathroom...it looks really nice and is meant for high moisture rooms like a bathroom

They also make tile that looks like hardwood. I was standing on it in the store and thought it was wood until I bent down and touched it.
