Lamaze Class
Hi all!
I really don't get a chance to post as much as I'd like to but I have a question.
I was wondering is anyone here taking or has taken Lamaze classes? if so, was it worth it? My hospital is charging $150 for an all day class from 8am-4pm.

I am not doing it. I just rented "LAugh and Learn About Childbirth- Lamaze and Beyond" from the library. It's a 4 1/2 hour video and it was very thorough. I do not feel the need to do a class after watching that.

We did a "weekend intensive" lamaze class at our hospital from 9a-3p on a sat and sun. Ours was $150 as well but they offered a sliding payment schedule to us. We didn't take it but we were surprised it was an option. Maybe ask your educator if they have the option to maybe pay 1/2 and 1/2?

This is what DH and I are going to do too. It's just easier and our schedules are so hectic.
