How short was your cervix when your OB said it was time to go on bedrest?

mine was 2.5 when it was decided for me to have the cerclage done and modified bed rest

How far along were you? I'm 25 weeks and I'm measuring 2.1 (I'm also only carrying one baby). I'm getting totally worked up, which I know is bad, but my doctor is not calling me back with instructions. I wouldn't really be phased by this IF the NP hadn't been so adamant about me calling for follow up instructions from my OB. Now it's 2 days later and she still didn't call me back.

26 weeks with  and I'm on modified rest, today I go back for a re-check.

I went on bed rest in April at 28 weeks and will stay on bed rest until I deliver. My cervix was 2.5 and I have very cautious doctors bc they could already feel his head right behind my cervix. Plus I am continuously having contractions that I can't feel, my belly is just hard as a rock. I can't cook, clean, work, drive or anything. Very boring, but I'm now 34 weeks and hoping our baby boy comes sooner than later lol.

It's been 2.5 since 16 weeks. I went out on full bed rest from 22-28 weeks and now I am on a modified bed rest...sitting at work, no stairs, limited walking, no heavy lifting...at 30 weeks. I go back every two weeks to get it checked and no change even with abdominal pressure. Good Luck!

.I m thirty weeks and 1 day today. I went to my ob at 29 weeks for a check up..to find out she tells me i am contracting...not in pain it felt more like gas pains she did a soon turns out my cervix also shortened told me to go to the hospital....they admitted me this was thursday ...def keep calling ur dr....dont worry what they think....I will be put on bed rest when I leave here till I deliver....these lil ones causing us moms so much stress n they aren't even here yet.

At 26wks I was taken off the road when my cervix measured 2.2 At 33wks it was 1.8 and I was also in preterm labor. Full bedrest with ProCardia 4x a day until 36wks. My cervix did lengthen again to 2.3 and stayed that way from 34wks until delivery.

Did you read my mind? That's the problem! I keep thinking I'm being a PITA but here we are 2 days and 4 calls later and she still hasn't called me back.
I hope you are feeling well too and I hope all goes smooth for you.

I'm only 15 weeks and have been on full bed rest for 2 weeks!!!! My cervix today was 2.5. I had a cerclage 2 weeks ago. They said I will probably need a revision. There is a 2cm clot next to my cervix so I'm hoping for some cervix under it once this clot absorbs.

Im sorry I just saw this. I was 19 weeks. after the cerclage i was on modified bed rest. Meaning I could g to work and then home to put my feet up. Had i not had the cerclage I would have been on full bed rest from 19 weeks on. i dont know if ur doc got back to you yet BUT if I were u I would stay of my feet as much as possible.
