ladies who use OPK's I need some help...
I am *i think* ovulating this week. I am taking OPKS's and I have gone from no line to a liiiiiiiiiight line to a decent line, but still not darker than the test line.
Now I just took a OPK and there is no line again. This is what happened last month too.
What is that about? Does that mean I am not ovulating (I figured I should be since I get a line at all) or did I just miss it...I take the tests around lunch time so I am able to limit my water intake before hand.

Re: ladies who use OPK's I need some help...
This happened to me using cheapo line tests. I decided to go digital then decided to use the CBEFM. Sorry I'm not much help but i have lost all faith in the line test. I say BD anyway.

I cannot use the line tests-way too confusing. The CBE digital works for me.

Re: ladies who use OPK's I need some help...
I bought the OPK with the line test this month also because it was so much cheaper than the CBE digital and we are not really trying this month (I am recovering from a D&C after a miscarriage). Basically, the line test blows. I haven't gotten a reading at ALL some days (even on the control line).
I bought the CBE Digital for next month... If only AF would show her face already!!!
Definitely try the CBE Digital!!!

Same experience with the line tests. I'm also switching over to digital next month, after wasting a whole cycle and $ on the line tests. I had no control line, and when the surge line showed it was light. We were holding off on BDing until we got the surge, but it never came. I can't wait for AF so we can move on already.
So, to anwer the original post, I'm sure you O'd, it was just some bad tests. Are you tracking CM or anything else that may give you a better indication to when you are Oing? I'd say BD if you think there is still time.

Re: ladies who use OPK's I need some help...
These OPKs are very finicky... They recommend you use mid-afternoon urine (2-6pm ish) for a better chance at seeing the surge line. You said you tested at lunch time, so it isn't like you used FMU so i'm sure that isn't the problem. I would say that if the line was darkening and then went away, you just missed the surge, but it doesn't mean it didn't happen. I used the First Response OPK's and got BFP two months in a row (1st was chemical) so if you time it right, they certainly do work. i just happened to be lucky enough to catch the surge. You probably ovulated the day the line went away. If you got your period last month then you ovulated. Good luck!!
