Ok so right before you are suppose to get AF, you temp is suppose to drop right??

Yes, but if it is more than a day or two before AF it can be an implantation dip and your temp will rise again the next day.

im asking cuz mine shot up this morning...there was a little dip a few days ago, and today it shot up! thats a good sign right if AF is like due any day now?

im so nervous tho, had a chemical last month and trying to hold of testing till i know AF is for sure late

I want to learn about temping....can you explain where you got your thermometer and how much was it and what exactly you do? I am curious, thx!
PS - I am on two other "chat" boards and everyone seems to temp, as opposed to OPK!

im kinda knew at this soo im prob not the best to explain it
this is my first month temping, and i kinda messed it up in the beginng because i would get out of bed and pee before i would temp and also i gave up on it for a little bit and still used opk
you can get a basal thermometer at any supermarket, i got mine at stop and shop.
basically take your temp the same time every morning, best time is right when you wake up like dont even get out of bed, and just record the temp everyday...
i might be wrong, but your temp is suppose to drop right before O, and then after O it gets higher...and should stay higher..
i know that there is such a think called implantation dip where i guess its ok for your temp to dip, but it should go back up...and i just learned that before af it will drop again...and if it doesnt its a good sign! but i guess its not 100% tho..
anyone else have a better explaination or wanna add anything im missing feel free

That's pretty accurate, though it doesn't *have* to dip before O. Keep in mind that not evry BFP is accompanied by an implantation dip. I didn't have one. The only symptom I had was that my temp stayed high when it had traditionally dropped when AF arrived.
How many DPO are you?
