Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
Did you have more or less symptoms with your second or third pregnancies? I had a ton of symptoms right away with my first and this time I'm not feeling much. I'm still very early so I know that things can chage but I guess I assumed that my pregnancies would be sort of similar
Anyone have complete opposite pregnancies?

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
when they say every pregnancy is different - that is me!
I had little problems with #1, but was sick as a dog with #2 and am in the middle with #3.
My boobs hurt a ton with #1, nothing with #2, and now in the middle with #3.
Nothing has really been the same.

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
With DD's pregnancy in 2009, i breezed right through it. With this one, it had been horrible, the morning sickensss and nausea have been worse, i have no appretite at all (gained nothing so far at 14 weeks) but im feeling the baby a full month sooner than i did with DD. With DD i LOVED and craved red meat and with this one just the thought of cooking it makes me want to hurl, i have had red meat in over 3 months. Def different pregnancies.

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
TOtally different!
With DS I felt great in the 2nd trimester...had HB but other than that, it was good!
This time, I am exhausted throughout my pregnancy, still get nauseous have my whole pregnancy. Basically this pregnancy I just have felt pretty cruddy througout.
With DS I felt okay most of it.

My first pregnancy was a dream. Hardly any symptoms.
This one is another story...I've been sick and exhausted. It's the complete opposite from my first one!

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
1st trimester with my first was a breeze. No nausea, a little breast tenderness, that was it.
1st trimester this time (twins) - consistently nausea, threw up a bit felt really crappy.
2nd trimester both times were relatively uneventful.
3rd trimester with my first had some complications. My blood pressure spiked, hospitalized a few times, but in the end he and I were both fine.
So far 3rd trimester this time has been smooth sailing. I am 32 weeks and my doctor is very happy with how this pregnancy is moving along. I guess only time will tell the final outcome, though

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
I'm only a few weeks along, but so far i notice that i am less tired than i was with DS #1. I really don't even feel pregnant..the only sympton i have is slightly sore boobs. I keep staring at my pregnancy test that has the word "pregnant" on it, to remind myself that i'm pregnant. I also remember feeling like i was in a fog early on with with DS #1, i don't have that this time around either.

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
I think I was more tired with #1, with #2 now even though I'm tired #1 keeps me going. I have the same morning sickness though..which happens at night.
I must say my appetite with #1 was zero, but with #2 right now I want to eat everything.

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
With DD #1 my boobs were a dead give away that I was preggo but otherwise it was an uneventful pregnancy with really no other symptoms...with the twins now I had the boobs but I also had this unbelievable nausea that kicked my butt.

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
I was SO tired with #1....I'm still tired this time, but it doesn't seem as bad. I think, as someone pointed out to me the other day, you CAN'T be as tired...you have a LO to chase around, so you don't have the option of giving in to the fatigue as much!
I'm more crampy this time around too. But that could be because I am paying more attention to it.
All the other symptoms are about the same...irritability, sensitive/sore boobs...

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
I was sicker much earlier, it's actually what made me realize I was pregnant. I hadn't felt that nauseous since being pregnant with #1. This pregnancy has been much tougher, I was sicker than last time, more tired, and I fainted and ended up in the ER once.

Re: Ladies pregnant with #2, 3 or more
With my first pregnancy the puking started at 5 weeks and lasted until about 20 and then throughout the rest sporadically. I hated being pregnant. Now with #2 I am early but unsure of how far b/c this was a bit of a surprise and haven't had first sono yet but I feel a bit of nausea but not as bad as last time. It is still early though but my fingers are crossed. I am exhausted this time and I don't remember that last time but then again I have an almost one year old, I am working FT and still BF DS so it's no surprise that I am shot. I am also experiencing insomnia right now which I didn't have with DS. But I think that is because I am super stressed out. Let's hope this pregnancy is better than the last. Hearing your stories gives me hope!!!

very similar pregnancies, so far. the only difference is that I was more nauseous in the beginning with this pregnancy, but never got sick. I was rarely nausesous with DD #1.
