Ladies nearing the end.. Anyone NOT have any [boob] leakage??
i know it's a good sign when your boobs leak-- but, what if you don't?
I am 35 weeks on Thursday, and my boobs have started to get sore again... but aside from the other changes I have experienced throughout my pregnancy: enlarged boobs, nipple changes, etc., oh, and my lump, there has been no leakage.
Just wondering....

None at all!
My midwife said it's fine, but my mom seems suprised....
I hope the milk comes in once the baby is here...I would like to breastfeed....
ETA: I'm 34 weeks

I didn't really have any real leakage until a few days ago. I read in on of my books that in order to prepare for breastfeeding we should massage the nipple so that it won't hurt as much when the baby comes around. I hardly believe that advice. But, when I started doing it, I had leakage! Like you, I am 35 weeks (but delivering at 36 1/2)

This is something I was really worried about--but my milk came in 2 days after she was born. Before that, she was barely eating, and the colostrum had come in and was enough to sustain her.
I didn't have any leakage beforehand, either, but I have had no problems with my milk supply

The first day, she barely ate anything (which I was told is completely normal). The 2nd day we supplemented with formula, which we will NEVER do again (just my experience). When my milk came in, we cut out the formula altogether.

I am almost 33 weeks, no leakage. Nips are actually a little dry, that I have to lotion them

I really never leaked with DD - I did have an occasional little pinhead of liquid - but never leaking. I had no problem at all breastfeeding DD right from the start (and I have a fibroid adenoma that I was told could be a problem with BFing)

I didnt leak last time or this time, but my milk can be expressed ( had no supply issues last time either)

No leaking here!!, also had no leaking with last pregnancy either and I had breastfed dd. Just b/c you dont have leaking doesnt mean you wont be able to... just means milk hasnt come in yet. My milk came on time after dd was born.

34 weeks and nothing yet. Same thing when I had DS. Nothing at all during pregnancy (boobs didn't even get that much bigger), but whoa - like 2 days PP OMG the milk kicked in and so did the huge (painful) boobs!

My boobs havent changed much at all the entire pregnancy. They have gotten a bit fuller, but other than that I havent noticed any major differences.

With my DS I never had leakage. My milk didn't come in for over a week after he was born. But I successfully bf for almost 2 years. So I don't think it matters if it comes in early.
