Ladies near the end- tailbone pain?
Anyone have this? I don't remember having this with my first pregnancy. A friend of mine who is pregnant, due a few weeks ahead of me, mentioned 2 weeks ago during prenatal yoga that she suddenly noticed her tailbone really hurt. I hadn't heard of this before. Then all the sudden this morning, I was sitting and noticed mine started to hurt exactly as she described hers. I have an appt on Thursday anyway, so if it is still hurting, I will mention it to the doc. Just curious if anyone else experienced this. I'm 35w3d.

Yes! Just the last week or so. I usually get it when I stand up after sitting for a little while. Hurts likes heck for those few minutes though.

I'm 38 weeks and I haven't experienced this. I did, however, get sciatica and feel so lucky that it went away...that was torture!

I had it with my first pregnancy. It was so painful, especially if I sat for too long. I brought the glider in to the living room and sat on that the last few weeks. For some reason, it wasn't as bad if sitting on the glider instead of the couch.

I had this with my first pregnancy. It really hurt especially when standing up after sitting for a bit. It would take a few mins for it to subside. :-/
