Ladies I really need your help!
Can you please tell me what prenatal vitamins you take and how much it costs you?
Especially if you have to use Medco or another mail-in prescription company.
They are charging me $103 for a 90 day supply of Primacare (Precare is not available) !!!! So now, no one will give me the names of other prenatals to price!!!
I swear, with the day I am having today, I am surprised I haven't lost it yet!!!!!

I was just going to ask that, what's the difference?
My doc seems to really stress the prescription, but when I had this problem with the Preconceive, he said to take a regular mulitvitamin......

My doctor said they are exactly the same so that is what I take. I think you should ask your doctor what the difference is

I used Citracal with DHA since this is what my doctor told me he preferred I take. My insurance lists it as the top price so I pay $25 a month.

I take CVS Prenatals, took them with DD too, dr ok'd them. $8.99 for 100 pills, otherwise prescription prenatals would cost be at least $30 bucks a month.

honestly.....through my entire pregnancy I only had to fill a script once $20 copay...the rest of the time I got free samples from my OB's office!

I buy them at Target. $9.99 for 50. PA said it was fine. I showed them to her so she could check.

I had a similar problem. My doctor prescribes Prenate Elite and my old insurance used to cover it at the retail level. With my new insurance it's not covered at retail so I would pay $125 for a 90 day supply. Medco charges me $33.09 for the 90 day so I do that instead.
Have you spoken to your doctor to see what brands they would recommend so that you can price them out?

My doctor prescribed Cal-Nate and I pay $9/month. I forgot to fill the prescription last month so I've been taking the Target brand... That's what I took with my son.

I take citracall also and I send the prescription to Medco and I pay $60 for 90 days worth
