Ladies at the end

When did/will your doc do your internal? Mine won't until my next appt at 38 weeks. However yesterday he said he would be surprised to see me in the office next week.

he has been checking my cervix (i think thats an internal?) since 36 weeks

Oh no, I don't know if I am getting one at 36 weeks! But I am getting group B strep test then so that's internal, right?

Had my first internal this week (36 weeks)...and the group B strep.

And i believe i continue with the internals every week...

I just had my first 38w3d, and only because I'm being induced due to size of baby. I will have another tomorrow at 38w6d because of the weekend and my induction is for Monday night (why they aren't checking me Monday morning to see if I'll need the Foley bulb confuses me )

I am getting my first internal on the 17th @ 36 weeks

This Tuesday coming up I will be 37 weeks and thats when the internals will start along with the Strep B test...hoping there is some kind of progress cause I am DONE

Mine started at the 36 wk appointment (they did the strept b as well). My OB will do an internal at every appointment from now on unless I request not to.

Mine started at 36 weeks during which I had blood work and Strep B test taken. I had another one today and I got my blood work and Strep B results and all is looking good. The internals are SO uncomfortable ESPECIALLY if you're closed...the baby is in position with its head down but has not engaged yet and I am not dialated.

I had my first one on Monday at my 35 week appt. They weren't supposed to start until next week, but I was having some contractions, so he checked me just in case!

Had GBS last week at 36 weeks and he checked for dilation then. Then this week at 37 weeks I was told it was optional... I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and 1 cm, 90% effaced!

I'm 37w1d and haven't had one yet. I have an appt on Sunday so I'll be 37w4d. Am I crazy to hope that he does one?? I'm dying to know if there is any progress. I am so type A and not knowing when baby is going to come is making me nuts!!

My doctor would have started internals at 36 weeks, but since I am a scheduled C-section, he won't do an internal. he said he doesn't want to stir anything up and bring on earlier labor since I am scheduled.
