KROCK IS BACK!!!!!!!!
CBS resurrects New York's "K-Rock."
Talker "Free FM" WFNY (92.3) is gone - and likes of Metallica are back - as "K-Rock" returns after an 18-month hiatus. Insiders say Opie & Anthony stay put in morning drive. Veteran CBS L.A. programmer Kevin Weatherly and consultant Trip Reeb are at the helm.

Oh man....I love them. When I had a 40 min commute I listened to them on my way home and they had me LMAO - I am sure people were looking at me funny!

Nick is probably one of the front runners for Artie's chair. Today Artie announced he is most likely 'leaving' the Stern show in January to "clean himself up".

Not pleased with this at all. I thought the music they were playing sounded like bizarro crap with no staying power and no place in music history. But then again they say it is very rare that people over a certain age start listening to and/or appreciating a different genre of music as their favorite. I'm a classic rock kind of girl.
As for the Radio Chick, I am sure she will be back to replace O & A eventually in the morning when they get tossed for offending the National Association for Collectors of Toe Nail Clippings for one reason or another - that is how specific the special interest groups have gotten. Radio execs are so worried about offending people when they show naked hairy butts on TV where they can be seen.
I am feeling tangential today. Very scattered.
