Knoebels Amusement Park?
We just came across Knoebels in PA, a little past the Poconos. It looks like a great place; very family oriented. Has anyone been? Any reviews/comments?

I love love love love Knoebels!!!!!!
I went to college in Bloomsburg PA and Knoebles was right there. You could stay in Bloomsburg or if you are into camping there is a campsite right there.
They have some of the top rated wooden roller coasters.. you get some serious air time.. there are a few of them.
You used to be albe to POP but, I think (at least 2 years ago) you had to buy tickets and spend them at each ride.. but, honestly they are sooo cheap. I remember thinking how much cheaper it was to pay per ride. And it is nothing like the bigger parks.. price wise and crowd wise!
And the carosel is the BEST!! It is really old and has a ring thing on it. They also have great food. You have to look around because each food stand is different.
You must try the birch beer. They have it in all colors and it is amazing. The water rides are fun and it is just great.
It is very PA Dutch.. if you KWIM.. no bikinis, etc. Very proper.. but, really such a WONDERFUL TIME! We go whenever we can.
ETA: They have two rescued, injured bald eagles there. You can get pretty close. It is amazing!

I saw this place on one of those tv shows about old time amusement parks. I wanted to go after seeing the program!

Tricia, thank you so much for your detailed reply. I think we'll definitely do this place this year. Around how far is it? A little past the Poconos? 2 hours total? 3?

About 3.5 hours.. mabye 3. It's about an hour past the poconos.
