Granite- Tan- Brown

Stainless appliances

Now, the kicker...one wall extends into the living room without a break on the top...I can do a chair rail on the bottom of the LR wall and have the top color flow into the kitchen...

This is the LR color, and I have red sofas

Any ideas appreciated!

Re: Kitchen color- HELP!!

what about a rust/terra costa lighter color? I think it could blend well with your living room.

P.S. LOVE YOUR KITCHEN FLOORS!!

Re: Kitchen color- HELP!!

Can you put an architectural column dividing the LR and kitchen?

If so, I would paint the kitchen a blue...it's a complimentary shade (on the color wheel) to orange and you have a lot of that in your kitchen (tiles, granite specs, etc).

I love reds & terra cotta in the kitchen...and while I think a red could work (like BM Spanish Red) - especially with your LR flow - I think the terra cotta (like BM Audubon Russet) would be too monochromatic (unless that's a look you're going for).

Yes, I actually thought that a terra cotta color would just be too much...especially with the floor being that color...

What is an architectural column? I mean, I know what one is, but how would you put one on the wall? Pics?

Re: Kitchen color- HELP!!

oooh, it reminds me of mine. I have an open floor plan, so my dining room wall extends into my kitchen. We did BM Audobon Russet...

you can see the dorset gold from the dining room up above

this pic gets all the pieces in...backsplash, cabinets, floor, and both walls

so you can see more of the wall color...

Similar to this - but closer to the wall...and obviously, to your taste - they have squared off pieces as well as the round.
