Kings Park Fence rules?

Does anyone know if you can have your property fenced to the curb in KingsPark. We are having problem with neigbors children running onto our lawn... parents don't say anything....so asking them to keep the kids away is out of the question.

I am pretty sure you cannot fence to the curb - the first three to four feet - the town has an easement over - but if you have a sidewalk you can probably fence up to about 6 inches from sidewalk

Also look at your deed - there may be a covenant that says you cannot have a fence in front of the house line -

Q: Where may I put a fence on my property?
A: A fence not exceeding four feet in height above existing natural or approved grade may be erected on any portion of a lot except on a corner lot, which shall observe corner clearance. Fences from 4 - 6 feet in height shall not be located within the required front yard. Corner lots shall not have fences encroaching into minimum required front yards on either street.


So I think that you can't have the fence past the front of the house if it is over 4 feet. You also need a permit for the fence.
