Kids and strep throat
Anyone's kid have a hard time kicking strep each time they got it? Dd got it for the first time last winter. It took 3 weeks and 3 different antibiotics to finally get a negative strep test. And now she tested positive for strep 2 weeks ago, took 10 days of antibiotics, seemed better and then boom 3 days after ending the antibiotics she had a fever again and tested positive for strep again. So now she is on a different antibiotic. Seems to be following exactly what happened last year. I don't like her on all these antibiotics and am getting concerned that this is happening again. Dr said we will keep a close eye on her tonsils and may end up with a tonsillectomy at some point. Anyone experience something similar?

Yes. Take out tonsils and adnoids. You will see an improvement.
