Anyone else have strep- throat while pg. ???
I'm not sure that is what I have, going to call my regular MD in the morning, but for like 2 weeks now, it started w/ congestion and a sore throat, now I can barely swallow and my ear was hurting yesterday ...I'm 35 weeks and have come this far without having to take any meds ( aside from Tylenol) and would rather not have to be on anything and for that matter don't know what I can be on...Now I'm worried I could pass this on to  - do you think thats possible ???

I don't know if you will pass it on.... if you have a bad sore throat, especially if in your upper throat, listerine works well.... also, wearing a scarf 24/7 helps too

im sorry your not feeling well i too have a weird sore throat and thought it was strep because i get it EVERY YEAR like clock work and im waiting to get it now while im PG. but its not that bad anymore now its just the stuffy nose. i hope you feel better soon

just watch if it is strep and it is left untreated, you can end up with rheumatic heart disease..

Thanks everyone ...Eeeks what is rheumatic heart disease  ?? - Guess I better get my butt to the Dr. in case it is strep !

I had it late. They will easily treat you with abs ( I took zpack) and no, you can't pass it on. It's not the same strep as the Beta Strep, I asked this specifically.
