Re: KETO diet

My husband did.
What you are experiencing is normal, craving those sweets. You're body is basically detoxing from sugar and carbs.
It's only a few days and you'll be over the hump. He doesn't crave sugar at all anymore
He lost 100 lbs and reversed insulin resistance, pre diabetes, awful GERD, and fatty liver. He's kept it off almost 4 years now and is healthier and fitter at 50 than he was at 30.
He no longer does full keto with the high fat...he does very low carb as his maintenance. But keto is the only thing that worked for him after a life time of weight issues and failed "diets".
If you like to read about stuff like this, the book Fat for Fuel was what got him started.

I do. U’re body will def get used to it and cravings will lessen. Wait til u do intermittent fasting (which can naturally happen when doing keto), it gets better! U can also try keto desserts too, although u gotta be mindful and not overindulge cause it might send u straight to the bathroom and cause gas. Oh and keep ur water intake up.

Re: KETO diet

Congrats on losing the weight. Chat Icon As a type-1 diabetic, I can't go on a diet like this. If my blood sugar drops, I have no choice but to take sugar immediately.
But the beauty of different weight loss programs, is that everyone can find one that works for them. Not everyone can do the same diet, otherwise there would only be one.
