Just some must haves from a new mommy
First of all I miss this board sooooo much. Hope you are all feeling well and I cant wait to hear about all the new babies coming.
So dd is 1 month old today, it has been amazing but also very tiring, scary, and plain old hard.
I thought i would let you guys know some of the things that have made this past month a little easier for me and dh. This is not a bible of must haves for everyone just my own personal experience. Also some of these things are useful for us because we live in a 2 story house.
A pack n play that has a changer attatched. There is room to hold diapers, wipes, and some other necesseties and plus I dont have to run upstairs to her changing table every time or lay her on the floor or couch etc.
Carters onsies with built in mittens, they sell them at bru. Especially you winter mommies, babies hands are always cold and this onsie helps with that. It is the only one I will put on her now.
Sound machine, we have the sleep sheep and it really helps to soothe a crying baby and dh and I even need it to fall asleep now lol
boppy, wish i bought 2. You use it for everything, feeding, resting, even just holding her in your arms is easier with it.
A BIG DIAPER BAG, do not worry about looks or brand name, ypu need so much stuff in there you cannot believe it.
Lots and Lots of bibs. I cannot believe that we go through a bib at every feeding. And unless you want to be doing laundry every single day, stock up
Do not buy a lot of newborn diapers or clothes. DD was in newborn diapers for about 2 weeks and she is not a big baby and we wasted so many cute outfits because she grew out of it so fast and never got to wear some of them.
Make sure you have a camera handy at all times  They change and grow so fast and you want to be able to remember it all.
If I think of anything else I will be sure to let you all know. Enjoy the last part of your pregnancies for those who are due soon. I already miss being pregnant and feeling her in me
