Just since it hasn't been done in a while...how long is everyone TTC?
I went back to the RE in August. I had long cycles in the beginning until we moved on to injectibles. So this is my 8 month of TTC, but only the 6th cycle.

We've been TTC since 3/09, so just over 2 years. We only started seeing a RE in August for testing, and I had my first IUI at the beginning of December.
ETA: Until I started IUIs, I had cycles of 35-41 days, so there were only 9-10 cycles per year.

Over a year, officially. They discovered I had a blocked tube which happened to be the side I O from regularly. That was cleared 6 months ago.

I went off the pill 7 yrs ago May of 2004. I had a lot of infections and we weren't really trying. I did use the fertility monitor and the ovulation kits for a little bit here and there but I knew something was wrong. We have been on this journey for a long time with breaks in between and 4 doctors later Im ready to be pregnant.

We started in Jan 2010.. got pg in march of 2010 and had a chemical. Then we waited until July to try again.. so this is 10 months since the m.c. In total, a little over a year. Depends on who you ask I guess... DH will def say 10 monts He wont admit we've been trying this long lol

3 1/2 years 
First BFP after 3 years TTC and no heartbeat at 7 weeks.
Certain parts of life I guess are chosen for certain struggles.

We have been doing the "see what happens" approach since we married in 05. We started seeing an RE Jan of 2010. I've been pregnant twice, once ended in a miscarriage and this one I lost a twin.

We started TTC in May of last year. In May we just weren't preventing, then in June we started trying hardcore with OPK's Deanna's plan preseed, etc. We are a few weeks away from the year mark.

I went off bcps in January 2010
We started using opks in June 2010. 1st BFP in August 2010. Delivered at 15 weeks in October 2010.
Waited three cycles (doctors orders) used opks and got second BFP in March 2011. Lost baby at eight weeks. :cries
So 15 months total

started trying Feb 2010, first MC in April 2010 at 7 1/2 weeks. Waited two months and started trying again. Possible Chemical in August 2010 and started seeing an RE in January 2011. First IUI cycled canceled due to no response from femara. Diagnosed with POAS, elevated LH and elevated FSH. Also have MF issues. 1st injectable cycle BFN. Currently waiting for my second IUI cycle next week.
Total, 15 months and counting!

Dx March 2011 PCOS and Natural Killers
trying 3rd IVF May 2011

i went off BCP may 2009...
started seeing RE in november 2009 since i only ovulated once since may...
chemical in march 2010...
chemical in may 2010...
sticky BFP in october 2010 after first IVF so it took 18 months total.

This July will be 3 years. Year one, we winged it, for about 4 months we tried Clomid with my OBGYN, since then with an RE.
5 Cycles of Clomid, 3 IUI's, (1 Clomid, 2 Gonal/Femara), 2 Laparoscopies, 1 Hysteroscopy later nada!
How am I still sane!!

15 months, with one m/c at 8.5 weeks during that period and last cycle was first one with meds - a failed 50 mg Clomid/trigger shot/IUI cycle. Current cycle of 100mg Clomid/trigger and BD.

2 years (since April '09), not a single BFP, secondary infertility
- 6 mos TTC on our own (with some testing by OB for spotting issues)
- 6 mos with standard RE (NSUH) - 4 IUIs, 3 medicated, all failed
- 1 year using NaPro Technology with Gianna Center - Antibiotics for 3 weeks (DH and I), some medications, laparoscopic surgery for moderate endometriosis, Femara for 1 cycle where I hyperstimulated
- Evaluated by Dr. Toth - decidedly a waste of our time and money
- Began seeing Dr. Braverman, just ended 3 weeks of BCP, about to start my first IVF protocol on Monday
