just returned from 40wk appt..
and still only about 1-2cm dilated...80% effacted... 
my doctor scheduled me for induction next weekend if the lil sucker still refuse to come out by that time.
i'm kinda relieved that there IS an end to this pregnancy madness!! i can hardly sit, sleep, or walk without be uncomfortable!!

Sorry to hear progress is slow, but you could deliver anytime really, and hopefully you will before the induction.
I wound up needing an induction, and it was kind of nice to know when the baby was coming at a certain point and know there was an end in sight.

I feel for you! I had my 40 week appointment on Wednesday, and I was only 1 centimeter, which i have been for over 3 weeks.
I went for a growth sono today and my baby is 9 1/2 lbs 
But he wont induce for weight 
I have to wait to next wednesday to be induced, i am MISERABLE!!!

I'm right here with you. Due on Monday, I think i am fully effaced and 2 cm but i dont think it's going to happen any time soon! I scheduled an induction for the 17th. i really dont want to be induced for some reason so i pushed it off until the last possible day!

oh I feel your pain, the end is definitely the hardest....ironic too because you'd think we'd have it easy right before we have to start taking care of the baby and then get no rest!! LOL!!!
I'm being induced monday for medial reasons at 38 and a half weeks and really have no idea how I could possibly have made it to 40, I think I would be institutionalized!! I a mhuge, uncomfortable and al laround miserable...but you know what....there is an end in sight and that's what matters!!! Hang in there!!!!!!
