just need to vent - work

i am SO fed up with work

next wed the 16th is my last day before leave and I am STILL trying to get FMLA information and paperwork out of my HR department. I think I have made 6 requests over the past 3 weeks.

my boss has made NO arrangements for my leave and who will handle my job responsibilities (though that won't hurt me, only them when I am gone for 10-12 weeks).

i am just SO tempted to make Friday my last day and take all of next week off before the baby arrives on 1/21

i should be happy and excited but I am so stressed at my job. everyone is miserable and its aggrivating.

AND to add, just got a call from my OB - they don't have my registration forms so the hospital will bump my section date if I don't go in to fill them out TODAY.

awesome! so glad I filled them out and handed them in 5 months ago.

oh god i am sorry you are going through this. i don't understand why its so hard to get info out of your company (going thru the same thing myself)
i think its because they don't know half the info either and they are stalling. don't worry about what they will do when you are out - not your problem and you shouldn't be stressing about it

That is so frustrating. While my HR dept was great when I had to stop working with my twins (my OB pulled me out at 26 weeks), I kept having to remind my boss. I knew way in advance and kept saying I won't be here soon. 2 days before my last day, he started freaking out like oh no, you wont be here next week. I was like where have you been??? I'd been telling him this and then panic mode set in at the very end.

Ugh. Good luck. Oh well, soon it won't be your problem. You'll be home with your LO.

thanks i just can't care anymore. as long as all my paperwork gets filled out in time, I don't care what happens there
