Just got so emotional, hug your DC....
I just had a mom and her daughter in to book a party and I had heard that her son needed to go for chemo today, but he wasn't with them....
Just as we were finishing up this boy of no more than 9 or even 10 walked in with a crew cut......he made my heart melt as he hugged his mom and she hugged him back, saying that he had his chemo today and was probably feeling like mush from it.
When they left my eyes just welled with tears, even though he looked like a normal healthy boy, my heart was breaking for him...
I can't wait to go home and kiss my little man, even though he will already be asleep....

My friend's 10 year old is going through something similar & just ended his last chemo treatment. Absolutely devastating.
