Like diapers, bottles, things like that?

I registered for bottles, but not diapers. I have no idea which size or brand that I will use so I didn't want to get anything like that yet. Gift cards are my friend though!!

I regsitered for both bottles and diapers. I put one GIANT box of newborn and Stage 1 diapers on my registry.

I put some diapers, bottles, wipes, etc. on there. Not too many though b/c sometimes it is trial and error and the baby or you may not take or like certain brands.

I registered for bottles, wipes, baby shampoo, etc. I know for other baby showers I have bought a gift and thrown in a few of these items for either their wishing well or sometimes I do a basket with a bunch of different things.

I registered for everything. Whatever we don't get, we will get on our own. As for diapers I registered for different sizes (BRU gave a "Checklist") and I pretty much followed it.

I did bottles as well. Sometimes people throw diapers in wishing wells.

People will likely get you diapers anyway...and take my advice and just buy a pack a week from here on out. sure, you might end up with a lot...but i did this the first time around and i didn't have to go out and buy diapers [because i was OUT..i continued to buy them weekly-ish after she was born to maintain the supply]until my daughter was 2 and almost out of them anyway. just every week pick up a pack.
Just don't buy too many Newborn packs...you never know how big the baby will be and how fast it will grow.

I registered for diapers and wipes with DD. I would just say to register in more than just the newborn sizes, they grow out of them fairly quick.
