Just an update on AJ's class bday party...

Just an update on AJ's class bday party...
So it was this past saturday at a Gymboree. Never been to one actually
Got the bday boy a tonka car set thing. Nothing major and taped the gift receipt to the back.
Got there exactly on time (a few mins early but nothing annoying)
AJ had an absolute BLAST
She immediately started to play and very quickly a few classmates showed up and she played with them. She loved every part of the area.
Then the lady started her thing and AJ was up and ready to play. She danced and did the hokey pokey (right hand only) turned herself around, jumped up and down and just loved it. She was the ONLY one dancing actually haha.
She's a little OCD and got mad that on one part where everyone (parents too) get these bells that my bells didn't match. So she made me walk over and get a new one so I had matching bells 
Other than that, she had a blast. It was maybe 10 or so kids, and half were from school. Got to talk to a few moms but not for long.
AJ got overly excited and I had to put her in timeout during the cake part but she was otherwise alright.
Glad I went. Thanks for the push guys!
PS: Totally loved the gymboree experience hope more kids have parties there

Sounds like fun! I take DS to the Gymboree Play and Learn class, the instructor is great and DS loves it!  that she made you get matching bells....that would have bugged me too LOL
