Jury Duty Question
Does sole income provider (self employeed) qualify you for getting out of jury duty? Like if DH gets chosen for JD and has a long drawn out case we could go hungry on the $40 a day or whatever they give you as "compensation"

Re: Jury Duty Question
He can most certainly show up the first day and use that as an excuse see if they'll excuse him!

Re: Jury Duty Question
You can try to use the excuse but most likely, they will make your DH postpone. The only way out these days is medical or care of a child under 16. You can try to say it is a financial hardship but I hear that is not always granted. I know this bc I just was called for Grand Jury Duty. Luckily I was not picked yet I got credit for serving.
