June/July Mommies and Babies GTG - Snowed Out!
ETA: Wanted to make an official cancellation post! Enjoy the snow!!!!

I wanted to touch base and get a post up this week. I still plan on going even though they call for snow this weekend! 
June/July Mommies GTG Saturday, December 19th, 10:30/11am
I thought we could open it up to all pre-walker mommies since the holiday season is hard to get a big group so the more the merrier!
Bayard Cutting Arboretum, Great River (Central Suffolk, South Shore)
There is no fee for parking. There is a cafe that opens at 11:00am that does not really take reservations for our situation so if we get there early, we can put tables together. There is space inside for us to gather and wait in warmth.
Here is a link to the original GTG post with info on menu and pricing.
If you plan on going, please reply here so we can have an idea of how many tables to save. Also include what time you'd be there if not by 11am.

Oh No... I have a friend visiting this weekend and we're going into the city.
I'd love to have a GTG after the holidays. December is too busy for us. Come Jan it should (hopefully) get quiet again if you guys want to do a "After the Holidays" get together and walk

I would not mind doing some kind of a stroller club or something! Even through the winter (slush and weather permitting). I was raised old school and my mom has always sworn by fresh air being good for babies... but keep them shielded from wind!
Nolan gets so toasty in his stroller, I want to crawl up in there with him!

Yes, we'll have to see how the weather is... even though I have a very short drive, it's better to not have babies out in snow storms! 
I guess, we can plan to check in here in the morning by 10am, say, to see what the scoop is.

They are saying that the snow will not start until noon but we have already been planning a cozy snow day! Let's say we save the arboretum gtg until the spring!

I'm sad we'll miss meeting everyone but so relieved that I won't have to figure out if I would've had enough time to go and then get home before it started!
