did anyone watch it last night?
I'm not much of a history buff, but DH is. I have to admit, it was really good.

Didn't realize it was going to be a double feature so it was a bit long...BUT it was so good and I feel like kids should watch that in high school...can't wait for the next installment!

I watched both parts! I was a history major in college and now all I want to do is go back to college and back to my early republic course and have discussions! Yes, I'm a nerd!
I loved it and it really goes along with the book, which I'm rereading.

It's a 7 part mini series. Part 1 and 2 were last night, so for the next 5 weeks at 9pm it will be on.

Make sure you have like 3 hours to sit down to watch. The first one was 8-9:10, and the second part was 9:15-10:45pm.

I watched one of two episodes last night. I hope to watch the second one tonight.
I'm not much of a history buff either but DH was interested in giving the show a shot last night.
I have to say we were both pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be watching the remainder of the mini series.
