Joan Rivers now on life support
Not looking good...
Joan Rivers was on life support as her family remained by her side at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan on Saturday.
Relatives of the 81-year-old actress and comedian — who was placed in a medically induced coma on Thursday — may be forced to decide whether to keep her on life support in the next few days, sources close to Rivers told TMZ.
If they decide to take her off the machines that are keeping her alive, her daughter, Melissa, is hopeful she’ll recover on her own, the site reported.
No decisions will be made about the beloved “Queen of Mean’s” future for several more days, the source said.
Rivers was rushed to Mount Sinai after she stopped breathing during a medical procedure Thursday.
The family offered no updates on her condition on Saturday.

 I'm just in disbelief. I know it's ridiculous, but this whole time, my hinky meter has been going off, thinking something's shady.
I am sad and hope that she recovers from this. How awful.

This is awful! I hope she pulls through and is ok. I love her on Fashion Police. I can't believe this. Poor Melissa!

That's so sad! I know she's not for everyone....but she really is such a hard-working woman....and so strong. I hope she pulls through....but it doesn't sound good.

I think it was an endoscopy? But anytime you get put under there is a risk, especially at an older age.

Wow, I hadn't read that. I thought she was having a surgical procedure on her throat.
I hope she pulls through! So sad!
