WOW. I get that there is a policy, but there's not even a warning? I can't believe Jen would ever do anything to intentionally break the rules...

I don't mean to "stir the pot" but there is a warning at the bottom of all FM's.
I do agree though that it does suck though and 150% agree with what a previous poster said about the types of people who are allowed to continue to post on LIF yet good and helpful posters get the boot for an honest mistake......

Jen was great...
I agree that it stinks that there are jerky people allowed to post on here yet we lost a good and helpful poster.
It also stinks that you can't do things for people who you become friendly with through this site. If you are talented people can't help but notice and seek you out. I don't think Jen was soliciting, she didn't seem like that - not with all the free help she gave all of us!

Very upsetting news!!
Jen was always very helpful and one of the few who would always answer me on this board. She will be missed.

I am really upset by this. This is so ridiculous.
We ALL have businesses, hobbies or companies we work for.
I give my input on my own line of work. But not because I am sollicitating but because I am trying to inform people and help.
This is so sad that because you have your own business and not a vendor that you would be targetted.
I understand that some vendors might be upset, but sometimes we DO offer advice without sollicitating, FOR FREE.
She was a GREAT asset to this board and she is a nice girl.
I never felt she sollicitated.
I will really miss her input on this board.

I dont post too ofter on the Home board but I know who you are referring too! She was helpful and had great pics! Cant she just sign up again with a different email and user name?

they ban your IP address so unless she gets a new computer or a tech guy to change it, she will have to wait a while. I have read on the boards on some older thread how to change your IP address, so there is a way
But if I were her, I wouldn't come back. LIF is the one who loses out not her, now LIF has A LOT of upset members
I've been solicited through FM on here and LIW and NO ONE ever banned them! and they were not paying vendors.

JldDolphin sent links to her business website to a few users on the site & it was reported. We sent her an FM warning about soliciting on the site - it's also on the bottom of every FM & post in red. JldDolphin continued to send her link, it was reported again & we had no choice but to deactivate her account.
