Jet Lag
Well, we expected the jet lag coming back to the UK to be horrible...but we have had a pretty good day! We left JFK at 6 pm NY Time and got into Manchester at 6 am UK Time (thats 1 am NY time) We got home at around 6.20, stayed up for a while playing with Daddy, we both had a nap from about 8.30 until 1.00 (Noah in his new big boys crib) Daddy came to get Noah, I slept until 2...then at around 4 pm we went out for a walk to the Supermarket and Noah dozed in the stroller....then he had a bath, bottle, bed at around 7ish and now he is FLAT out.
Hooray, lets hope Mummy gets a whole long nights sleep tonight!!
(now that I am back in the UK, its back to being called Mummy for me!!)

Re: Jet Lag
Right so the kid was up until almost midnight, only wanted to sleep in bed with me (which I don't like) and screamed until I fed him at around 1 am....finally we both fell asleep at around 2.30. SO, woke up at 5 am, we went downstairs and hung out until around 7.30, went back to bed until around 11, now its 2.30 and he is knackered still!!!
Its a vicious cycle, he is tired, so I let him sleep...but will he sleep tonight? He just had a nap of around a half hour...but I woke him up so that we could go out!
Wish me luck ladies!! Its going to be a tough week.

Re: Jet Lag
Don't forget to inform your little tyrant boss that even though your Mummy, you're observing Memorial Day & will be off that day.
Hope you all recover from jet lag quickly!

It's a bank holiday here too!
Oh, Rachel, I hadn't scrolled all the way down and just saw the part where you called yourself Mummy, but not the part where you said now that you're back in the UK...I was going to tell you you spelt it wrong!
I've already told DH that when we have kids, I'm going to make them call me MOM-my with a long Long Island "AH" in there!!!
