Which is more family oriented ocean city, nj or wildwood?

I think Ocean City is more family friendly but I will say we go to Point Pleasant and Jenkinson's Boardwalk and find it to be very family friendly and a very easy drive from LI.

Depends on what you are looking for. Wildwood has amazing piers (Morey's Piers) with tons of rides, and two waterparks. We love it there. Just went a few weeks ago. Very family friendly.

Wildwood, Point Pleasant & Ocean City - All great for families, however, imho, Point Pleasant is starting to look like Seaside with a ton of shady people all over and getting very overcrowded. I would definitely consider Long Beach Island or Ocean City. Both Family friendly and clean. keep in mind though, Ocean City is a dry town - no alcohol.
ETA... If your going to take the hike down to Wildwood, I would consider Cape May.

We are staying in Diamond Beach- right between Wildwood and Cape May and I hear the beaches are incredible and it's super nice and not as crazy as Wildwood, etc
Plus short distance to all the hub bub of Wildwood.
And we can also visit Cape May for a day as it's nearby
