Jean Jackets
I'd say I'm relatively up on style but this morning I had a predicament---I couldn't find a jacket/blazer that matched my outfit except for my old Gap jean jacket so I wore it.
Its not loose fitting and I rolled up the sleeves so it looked 3/4 length and its probably 4-5 years old. It has been sitting in my closet for the last 3 years...are they completely out of style?
If so, oh well.
Update: Woo hoo! I think I found an answer to my own question---this is similar to the jacket I wore today. On Jcrew

I don't think they will ever go out of style. I just recently bought one at nordstrom. I find them to be so cute.

very cute Jcrew jacket. American Eagle, Abercrombie and Hollister all carry a VERY similar jacket, if you wanna save a few bucks.

I have a light denim and a dark denim one that I've worn for the past several seasons.
One from Gap and one from Old Navy.
Definitely a classic!

I agree- they are a classic staple. I wore a dark fitted one yesterday over a little dress.

I think they are definitely a cute classic. My only issue is the jeans with jean jacket combo... isnt that a no-no?

Yup! I agree. I still wear one from the express that is prob 10 years old. Jean jackets are classics and I bring it with me to work over sundresses all summer bc the train is so dang cold.

I had a great one from American Eagle and left it on a plane...so back to AE I went and I'm so happy with what I got!

Seriously!!! I have a Tommy one from 2001... and I lost it, but my friend had the same exact one and didn't wear it anymore so she gave it to me. You have no idea how happy I was!
