i think it was my fault that she left. the whole incident was TOTALLY blown out of proportion. there are so many people that threaten to leave, so i am surprised that she actually did.

You really believe that? you think someone making an obnoxious comment about someone who was exremely helpful and welcoming to a lot of people on this board is equal to someone rolling their eyes at that comment? You're entitled to your opinion.. I was just curious..
I happened to like Janice and will miss her helpful replies on this board. It's a shame she let someone offend her over a message board...
I guess ya gotta have a thick skin to withstand some of the nonsense that goes on here

Oh, well I guess we differ there.. I don't find it funny when someone replies, "good riddance" to someone being offended about a comment. But like we agreed, we're both entitled to our own opinions...
I didn't witness the initial drama, I just saw someone said she left the site. She hasn't fm'ed me.. So I wouldn't know any differently...
A humor bone is one thing, but I think there is a lot to be said about the differences between sarcastic and funny. I happen to be an extremely sarcastic person... not everyone can understand that type of humor.. Maybe Janice didn't find the sarcastic use of her name funny... But alas she's gone.. so I guess we'll never really know....

ok we agree to disagree I did witness the drama and it was a play on words .... To be honest some of her statements were alot more offensive yet none of us left ... we chose to either ignore or respond . The remark was to just basically show her that her statements were unfounded and assinine ... that is all not to make her feel like crap

No offense my dear, but the "pregnant women shouldn't go to bars" and "pregnant women shoudn't be out late" posts seemed kind of sillier than something about tipping. (Of course I don't remember the exact details of said thread, so I could be wrong entirely.)
